White crystalline solid. Melting point: 160–161°C; relative density: 1.31 (at 25°C); vapor pressure approximately 8 × 10⁻⁵ Pa (25°C). At 25°C, solubility is as follows: 10.5% in acetone, 18.5% in dimethylformamide, 10.3% in chloroform, 4.1% in methanol, 0.2% in benzene, 0.1% in hexane, and 0.1% in water. Stable under normal storage conditions.
Fenamidone is a new fungicide that demonstrates significant efficacy in controlling fungal diseases such as grapevine downy mildew and potato late blight. It can be applied either as a seed treatment or via foliar spray to help manage late blight in plants.
