The original drug is a yellow-green crystalline powder with a specific gravity of 1.94 and a melting point of 300°C. It is slightly soluble in dimethylformamide but insoluble in water and various organic solvents. The formulated product appears as a viscous, yellow-green liquid with a specific gravity ranging from 1.16 to 1.25, a particle size of 4–8 μm, and a pH value between 5.5 and 8.5. It exhibits a suspension rate exceeding 90%, remains stable under heat storage at 54±2°C, and is also stable when stored below 0°C. However, the product decomposes upon exposure to strong alkalis while remaining stable in acidic conditions.
It is a highly effective, low-toxicity, and safe thiazole-based organic ketone fungicide that exhibits systemic fungicidal activity as well as curative and protective effects, making it particularly effective for controlling and preventing bacterial diseases in crops.
