Colorless crystals with a melting point of 106–109°C and a boiling point exceeding 250°C. At 20°C, the vapor pressure is 0.03470 mPa. The density is 1.259, and the solubility in water at 25°C is 1.4 g/kg.
Cyproconazole is a triazole-class fungicide used in agriculture, working by inhibiting sterol demethylation. It exhibits both preventive and curative effects and is now widely applied in the pesticide industry. It is effective against powdery mildew fungi, rust fungi, as well as species belonging to the genera *Cercospora*, *Cladosporium*, *Septoria*, and *Venturia*—which commonly infect cereal crops, coffee, sugar beets, and fruit trees.
