It has low solubility in common organic solvents but high solubility in water. It undergoes hydrolysis at pH values between 5 and 9, with a half-life of less than 10 days in soil. It is stable under light exposure.
Used in orchards, vineyards, non-cultivated land, potato fields, and more to control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds as well as grassy weeds.
