A colorless, bromine-free solid. Melting point: 212–213.5°C; it is non-volatile and sublimes at 13.33 Pa and 140°C. At 25°C, its solubility in water is 50 mg/L. The substance is chemically stable and non-corrosive.
This drug can be absorbed by leaves, inhibiting photosynthesis, respiration, and protein synthesis. It effectively controls broadleaf weeds such as chickweed, wall penny-cress, field bindweed, and field mustard.
