It appears as a pale yellow to white crystalline powder with no odor. The melting point is between 155 and 157°C, and the vapor pressure is 2 × 10⁻⁷ Pa. Its relative density is 1.16 (at 21°C). At 21°C, its solubility is as follows: 350 g/L in toluene, 100 g/L in acetone, 70 g/L in isopropanol, 25 g/L in chloroform, 20 g/L in ethanol, 19.5 g/L in methanol, 6 g/L in cyclohexane, 0.5 g/L in kerosene, and only 10 μg/L in water. The partition coefficient is 9.9 × 10³. The compound is stable under normal conditions and does not hydrolyze at pH levels between 5 and 9.
It demonstrates excellent control efficacy against pests affecting a variety of crops, including citrus fruits, vegetables, cotton, apples, tobacco, soybeans, and tea plants, while also helping to delay the development of resistance.
