A pale grayish-white solid crystal with a slight, musty earthy odor. Its vapor pressure is approximately 1.3 × 10⁻¹⁰ Pa. In an aqueous solution at pH 7.74, it remains relatively stable against metals and metal ions for up to 28 days. In soil, the photodegradation half-life ranges from 9 to 10 days; in water, the hydrolysis half-life is less than 1 day. The compound exhibits stability in aqueous solutions within the pH range of 5 to 7, while at pH 9, its half-life exceeds 200 days.
It is effective for controlling larvae of Lepidoptera, thrips, and leaf miners, delivering excellent results against diamondback moths, beet armyworms, leaf miners, thrips, striped stem borers, and pod borers.
