The original substance is a yellow-brown, viscous liquid. It has a relative density of 1.14 (at 25°C), decomposes at 160°C, and exhibits a refractive index of n₂₀ᴰ = 1.5223. It is readily soluble in most organic solvents such as acetone, methanol, ethanol, and benzene, but its solubility in water is extremely low—only 0.5 mg/L. The substance remains stable in neutral solutions and retains its quality even after being stored for two years at room temperature. However, it must not be mixed with strong acids or strong bases.
A broad-spectrum, highly effective, and low-toxicity acaricide with both contact and stomach-action modes of toxicity, but without any penetration or systemic activity.
