Pale yellow to light yellow solid, with a melting point of 146–150°C. It is soluble in chloroform (in small amounts) and methanol (in trace amounts), and its water solubility is 320 mg/L at pH 5, 24 mg/L at pH 7, and 0.1 mg/L at pH 9.
This product features high efficacy, broad spectrum activity, safety, and a long residual effect. It is an excellent insecticide and acaricide, demonstrating exceptional effectiveness against lepidopteran pests such as cotton bollworms, as well as mites, coleopterans, and homopterans. Importantly, it does not easily induce pest resistance. Additionally, it is safe for both humans and livestock and can be mixed with most other pesticides without adverse effects.
